These features are documented in the current private alpha. Public-release acceptance is pending; this is not a claim that a public installer is available today.
Check before acting
Direct filesystem checks distinguish a verified path from an index-only result. An index can be stale when a drive disconnects or a file moves.
Look without changing
Read-only drive, duplicate, photo and hardware inspection helps you understand your files. Inspection does not grant permission to delete them.
Plan before moving
Storage-plan dry runs describe a proposed operation. The current alpha does not execute archive transactions, copy, move, delete or overwrite files through that planner.
Local intelligence. Your machine.
File search and ranking run locally: no cloud inference, data center or AI API key is required for those operations. The private alpha documents no application telemetry or model network calls. Package-level offline acceptance remains part of release verification.
Initial downloads, optional license activation and this website are separate online services. The website AI concierge is hosted; it cannot see your files. We will publish the final setup and offline-activation requirements before opening checkout.

FilePerch lifetime

A single lifetime purchase is planned for the accepted FilePerch application. No recurring fee. Local search, inspection and organization features will be included as they pass release acceptance.
There is no separate Free/Pro split. Privacy, permissions, backups and clear action receipts are part of the product, not paid safety upgrades.
With a little company
Wittlet is planned as an optional companion inside FilePerch. The full file workspace must remain useful with the character hidden.
The combined experience is in development, not a released capability. Standalone Wittlet remains a separate planned free download.
Checkout is disabled. This is the selected release-pricing direction, not an offer to buy an unfinished package. Final feature entitlements, device allowance, update coverage, transfer and refund terms, and offline activation must be published and verified before purchases open. No payment is collected here.
What your PC will need.
The current private alpha is a Windows desktop application using Everything and its command-line search companion. Offline semantic ranking needs local AI assets and a compatible runtime; lexical fallback does not require loading the AI.
Minimum and recommended RAM, disk space, supported Windows versions, bundled dependencies and clean-install behavior are still being measured. We will list measured requirements with the accepted download instead of guessing.
The current bundle is unsigned. Windows may show publisher or SmartScreen warnings. We will not ask you to disable Defender, SmartScreen or other Windows protections.

Public download and purchase links remain disabled while installation, licensing and end-to-end behavior are verified. The private alpha is not a Microsoft Store listing or a signed-publisher claim.
