Privacy Policy

This notice explains data handling on the public pages served from jehorizon.com. Product subdomains and third-party services have separate notices.

1. Who we are

J.E. Herizon LLC (DBA JE Horizon, "we", "us") is a North Carolina, USA limited liability company. Contact: [email protected]. The legal name is not “JE Horizon LLC.”

This notice covers public pages on the jehorizon.com origin, including the home, status, about, apps, files, local, operating-system, roadmap, retired, and legal routes. It does not cover qovaryx.jehorizon.com, leadrescue.jehorizon.com, cmd.jehorizon.com, Stripe Checkout, GitHub, Discord, Hugging Face, or other external sites. Those services publish their own terms and privacy notices.

2. What we collect on jehorizon.com

Waitlists and status subscriptions

If you click "Join waitlist" or "Get notified" on this site, we collect:

• The email address you typed in
• An optional business name (only if you typed one)
• The product or status list selected and the form source
• The request timestamp and ordinary request metadata processed by the hosting service

The waitlist backend is hosted on Fly.io in the United States. We use submitted details to manage the requested list and send relevant availability or status messages. You can ask to be removed by emailing [email protected].

AI concierge

If you send a concierge message, the browser sends only that message and an approved product/topic label to the JE Horizon concierge endpoint. It does not include a browser session identifier, page title or private file. When the hosted provider is configured and a request is admitted, the edge function sends the message and public site grounding to Microsoft Azure for a response. Otherwise it returns labeled saved information. The website assistant cannot access your computer. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information.

The request guard uses shared aggregate counters to limit hosted AI attempts. Its application record contains time windows and counts—not IP addresses, visitor identifiers, messages or file paths. Those counters are separate from ordinary infrastructure security logs. Closing or clearing the widget cancels waiting for a response but cannot retract a message already sent to the provider.

Browser storage

The site uses jeh_analytics_consent in browser localStorage to remember granted or denied. The concierge no longer creates a persistent session identifier and removes its obsolete identifier when initialized. The displayed conversation stays in page memory until you clear it or leave the page; it is not sent as conversation history with later messages.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

As a North Carolina, USA-based company, we use first-party Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site measurement without third-party advertising, remarketing, or data selling. It may set _ga and _ga_* cookies and receive page and device technical metadata for site improvement. Our loader explicitly disables Google Signals and ad-personalization signals and does not configure Google Ads tags. You can opt out of analytics at any time on our Cookie Policy page.

Our custom page and interaction events use approved public-page and product labels. They do not include URL query strings or fragments, raw referrers, link text, form values, concierge messages, or license and sign-in identifiers. Authentication, account, payment, retired and unknown routes are excluded by the loader. These optional browser events are separate from operational server-completed download counts and do not prove an installation or a unique person.

Cloudflare and Stripe

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When its security features are invoked, Cloudflare may set necessary cookies such as __cf_bm for bot management or cf_clearance after a browser challenge. These are separate from optional analytics.

When you click through to a product page that uses Stripe Checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud detection. See stripe.com/privacy for Stripe's policy.

Server logs

Cloudflare, Fly.io, and the services reached by your browser may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamp for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and operations. Provider retention is governed by the applicable service configuration and provider terms; we do not claim a single fixed period for every provider log.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell personal data or track visitors across third-party websites.
• We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, or similar conversion trackers.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with data brokers.
• Mobile information privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
• We do not profile you across other sites.
• We do not require an account to read jehorizon.com.

4. Legal bases & Opt-out rights

Under US federal and state frameworks, we provide clear notice of our first-party analytics and provide an easy opt-out on our Cookie Policy page. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we honor your choice and rights. We process concierge input to answer the request you choose to send and rely on legitimate interests for proportionate site delivery, security, fraud prevention, and service operations. We may also process information when necessary to comply with law. You can withdraw analytics consent or opt out at any time on our Cookie Policy page and can withdraw mailing consent by contacting us.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with operationally necessary third parties:

• Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection.
• Google (GA4) — consented aggregate site analytics.
• Fly.io — hosting our waitlist backend in US data centers.
• AWS SES — sending the waitlist confirmation / go-live notification email.
• Microsoft Azure — processing concierge prompts only when the Azure-backed response path is configured and used.
• Stripe (only on product checkout pages) — payment processing for child products.

We do not share waitlist emails with any other third party.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

Regardless of where you live, you can email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request" and ask us to:

• Confirm what data we hold about you (access)
• Delete your waitlist record (erasure)
• Correct anything we have wrong (rectification)
• Export your waitlist record as JSON (portability)
• Stop using your data for any further outreach (objection)

We aim to respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction; this list does not state that every privacy law applies to J.E. Herizon LLC in every circumstance.

7. Children

jehorizon.com is not directed at children under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

8. Data retention

We retain waitlist and status-subscription records while the requested list is active or until removal is requested, subject to operational backups and legal obligations. The current concierge application does not maintain server-side conversation history, although Cloudflare and Azure may process request data under their configured logging and retention terms. Browser localStorage remains until you clear site data. If analytics is accepted, GA4 retention follows the property configuration and Google's terms.

9. Security

We use transport encryption, access controls, managed hosting controls, and limited data collection appropriate to this site. No system is completely secure. If an incident affects personal information, we will investigate and notify affected people or regulators when applicable law requires it, within the applicable legal timeframe.

10. Child product privacy policies

Each JE Horizon product has its own privacy policy — those control any data you give to that product directly:

11. Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you by email. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
